From vibrant Ankara prints to intricately hand dyed textiles on fabric made from locally grown cotton, our designs reflect the rich cultural heritage of Nigeria and the skill and creativity of our talented artisans with a modern twist.

The story of Elisamama is rooted in a deep commitment to serving women. Coincidentally and quite aptly, the idea for the brand emerged after the birth of my only daughter, Elisa, our own Elisamama, whom the brand is named after.

At its heart, our work is driven by a commitment to our amazing women Artisans in Nigeria. These women are pillars - they anchor not only themselves, their children, their families but society at large. At Elisamama, we see them and are committed to supporting them - giving them dignifying work, income and ultimately meeting them beyond their immediate needs.

While geographically distinct, we realize the women who wear our garments, our “mamas”, also, in many ways, selflessly devote their time and energy in service. Therefore, through our work, we seek to center and embrace them with fashion solutions that are convenient and meaningful. We are committed to creating garments that aren’t only stylish but joyful and comfortable. Most importantly, we seek to create for our “mamas”, a brand experience that fosters community, acceptance and joy.
